Oxford Endowment Fund
This was established as a vehicle to invest gifts and donations in perpetuity. As such it is able to absorb greater levels of volatility, and we are not constrained by short-term considerations.
The Oxford Endowment Fund is a unitised investment vehicle that allows the pooling of a large number of endowment assets, legacies, gifts and capital into one entity. We require a minimum five year commitment from our investors.
The primary objective is to achieve an equity-like return, while distributing a stable income on an annual basis to our investors to fund their charitable activities.
We aim to produce a real long-term rate of return of 5% over the widely recognised HEPPI measure of inflation and to distribute 4% to our investors.
The inception date for this fund and its benchmark is 1 January 2008. The fund opened to investors on 1 January 2009.
