OUem appoints Caroline Serdarevic as Chief Executive Officer

Oxford University Endowment Management (OUem) is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Serdarevic as Chief Executive Officer, subject to FCA approval. Caroline will join OUem on 2 November 2026.

Caroline succeeds Sandra Robertson, who announced last December her intention to retire after two decades leading the firm and will stand down from the business on 29 January 2027. Caroline will work alongside Neamul Mohsin, who continues as Chief Investment Officer.

Caroline brings over 20 years’ experience in financial markets and joins from Millennium Advisors, where she was Head of International and Global Head of Sales and a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee. Since joining Millennium Advisors in 2016, Caroline has played a leading role in growing the business and managing teams spanning trading, technology, sales and operations.

Previously, she worked at RBS, Morgan Stanley and Citi, managing relationships with major UK institutional investors across the credit markets. She graduated with a first-class degree in Law from Brasenose College, Oxford, and is a CFA charterholder.

Quintin Price, Chair of OUem, said:

“We are delighted to have appointed Caroline as our next CEO. The Board conducted a thorough and rigorous search, with Caroline standing out throughout. She brings extensive experience of financial markets, a proven ability in managing high-performing teams and a deep understanding of the needs of institutional investors. I very much look forward to working with her.

“I would also like to reiterate the Board’s profound gratitude to Sandra for her leadership of OUem. She has built an enduring company, an exceptional team and a lasting legacy. I have greatly enjoyed working with her and wish her all the very best in retirement.”

Caroline Serdarevic said:

“It is a true privilege to join OUem, a remarkable organisation that combines a strong sense of purpose with a focus on performance. I am delighted to partner with Neamul in leading the firm into its next chapter, building on all that Sandra and the team have achieved over the past two decades.

“I am eager to get started, meet our investors and continue delivering long-term value on their behalf.”

Sandra Robertson said:

“It has been a privilege to build OUem over the past 20 years, and I am incredibly proud of the business we have created, the outstanding team and, above all, the contribution the Oxford Endowment Fund makes to our investors each year.

“I am delighted that Caroline will be joining as our next CEO. She brings great experience and judgement, a deep understanding of institutional investors and a reputation for bringing out the best in the people around her. I have every confidence that OUem will benefit enormously from her leadership and wish her every success in the role.”
