Sandra Robertson

Sandra Robertson is Chief Investment Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and sits on the Board of Oxford University Endowment Management Ltd (OUem). As Chief Investment Officer, Sandra has discretion for all investment decisions. As Chief Executive Officer, she is responsible for overall strategy of the business and ensuring the success of the company. Sandra is the founding CIO and CEO of OUem, a regulated investment manager focused on managing long term charitable capital. Sandra is a fellow at Oriel College, Oxford, a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of the Prince’s Trust and a Director of the Sequoia Heritage Fund.

Prior to OUem, Sandra was at the Wellcome Trust from 1993-2007 in various roles including Head of Private Equity, Head of Alternative Assets and most recently as Co-Head of Portfolio Management, sitting on its investment committee from 1997-2007. She has previously served on the boards of TIFF Investment Management and RIT plc. She was also a member of the investment committee of The Wolfson Foundation and a Trustee of the Queen’s Trust.

She has been recognised by several industry awards for her expertise in endowment investing, including a Private Equity Trailblazer award from Women in Private Equity, Power 100 CIO, Top 100 Most Influential Women in Finance, and 100 Women in Finance’s European Industry Leadership Award.
